Cure Your Headaches with Safe Nutrients
Health Alert #252

Headaches are usually a nuisance but can be quite serious. Migraine can be incapacitating. They can bring blurred vision, flashes of light, numbness and speech impairment. If left untreated migraines can lead to conditions such as permanent vision loss, strokes, aneurysms, and even death.1

If you suffer from migraines, you’ll be glad to know about new research showing you can cut their frequency and severity in half simply and safely with nutrients alone.2

* Get Relief without Dangerous Drugs *

A study at Humbolt University in Berlin showed that taking 400 milligrams (mgs) of riboflavin can cut migraine frequency in half. The patients cut their use of analgesic medicines to treat the migraines in half as well. After six months, none of the subjects reported any adverse reactions.3

Recently, Swiss researchers reported that 300 mgs of CoQ10 taken daily also cuts the incidence of migraines in half. The average number of days with migraines decreased from 7.34 to 2.95 after three months of CoQ10 therapy.4

Patients with chronic migraines appear to have impaired mitochondrial energy production. So CoQ10 that plays a role in energy production at the cellular level may help prevent these headaches.5

In addition, several studies have shown that magnesium prevents migraines in about half of the cases. And the herb, Feverfew, may prevent some of the blood vessel dilation associated with migraine pain.6

These tests say it best. Before you turn to drugs and their dangerous side effects for migraine relief, discuss your options for natural prevention with your doctor.

To Your Good Health,

Al Sears MD
